Can an employee change their mind after choosing digital payslips?

Under the principle of reversibility, the employee can change their mind at any time. Specifically, they can cancel their digital safe by following these steps:

  • Complete their registration (via the invitation link sent by email or the dedicated URL for your company, e.g. adherer.digiposte.fr/yourcompanyname)
  • Click on the “Organizations” tab, then select the employer’s name
  • Click on the gear icon in the top right corner, then select “Disconnect the organization”

The paper payslip flow must be reinstated within a maximum of 3 months, in accordance with the law.
The employee may also choose to opt in again at any time.

Do employees have a choice between digital and paper payslips?

Yes — employees are free to refuse the digital payslip option offered by their employer.
Under the principle of reversibility, they can change their mind at any time.

If the employee does not actively choose between digital and paper, the default option will be a digital payslip.
